USDOT 2024 (Future of Transportation) FoT Summit

We are pleased to report that three members of the REAT Center recently attended and presented ongoing REAT research at the 2024 Future of Transportation (FoT) Summit, held at the US Department of Transportation (DOT) Headquarters from August 13-15, 2024.
This prestigious summit brought together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the future of transportation: our team members, Drs. Ren Moses, Eren Ozguven, and Tsegai Yhdego showcased innovative research through poster presentations, contributing valuable insights to the discussions on rural equitable and accessible transportation.
In addition, we are pleased to share that Dr. Ren Moses, Director of the REAT Center, participated in a significant meeting with Dr. Robert Hampshire, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology and Chief Science Officer at the US Department of Transportation, along with other UTC directors. This meeting further strengthened our collaboration with the DOT and highlighted the importance of our collective work in advancing transportation research and policy.
